What is Lakaw?
Lakaw is a travel social app. You watch and post short travel reels, find places on the map, plan a trip with AI, and book tours — with a wallet for payment.
Which trips does Lakaw cover?
Lakaw is available in Asian countries. It serves travel from the Philippines to abroad, from abroad to the Philippines, and local destinations inside the Philippines.
How do I watch and post reels?
Open Travel and swipe. Following shows people you follow; For You is the wider feed. The red plus button opens the camera so you can record, add music, write a caption, and share.
What is on the Home tab?
Home starts on Community. From there you can move through Destinations, Nearby, Lakaw Map, Suggested places, the AI planner, the Leaderboard, and Trending hashtags.
How does the AI planner work?
Choose travel goals such as adventure, beach, food, culture, family, budget, nightlife, or romantic, add notes, or use the voice assistant. Lakaw builds a day-by-day itinerary you can open alongside tours.
How do I book a tour?
Open Tour, search by name, and filter by All, Budget, Premium, Short, or Group. A tour page shows photos, the day-by-day plan, reviews, and nearby stays. Checkout can be paid with your Lakaw Wallet when the balance covers the booking.
What are coins and the Lakaw Wallet?
Your profile shows Coins Balance and Lakaw Wallet Balance. Coins relate to gifts and creator activity. The wallet is used to add funds and pay for bookings. History for both lives in Settings.
Can I message other travelers or go live?
Yes. Messages sit on the Travel screen and support text, photo, video, GIF, and location. Lakaw Live lets a creator broadcast; viewers can watch and send gifts. You can also report or block an account.
Is Lakaw on iPhone?
The Android app is on Google Play. The Apple App Store version is not available yet — it is coming soon. You can sign in with a mobile number, Google, Facebook, or Apple once that build is released.
